It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Larry Strickland Sr. of Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Robert Larry Strickland Jr.; and his sister Holly Jean Strickland Williamson. He is survived by: his wife Edith Spainhour Strickland; his brother Jimmie Godley (Rennett) of White Lake; and his nieces, Tonda Curry (Allan) of Kernersville, Rhonda Goins (Bruce) of Lexington and Rebecca Godley of Wilmington. He is also survived by his family and friends.
