He was predeceased by: his parents, David "Ed" Renegar and Anna Hall Renegar; and his wife Patricia Hambly Renegar. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Brown (Hal) of Asheville, Janet Powell (David) of Winston Salem and Joseph Renegar (Elizabeth) of Weaverville; and his siblings, Ruth Gunnell of Columbia, SC, Sue DeHart of Sparta, TN and Steve Renegar (Ellen) of Oak Ridge, TN. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
