She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Ray Johnson Jr. and Eula Gray Shutt Johnson; her daughter Tammy Templeton; and her close friend Jesse Taylor. She is survived by: her son Scott Curley (Angie); her grandchildren, Brittany Griffin (Tyler), Stephanie Sanfilippo (Michael), Jacob Curley and Gage Williams; her great grandchildren, Asher Griffin, Levi Sanfilippo and Jackson Sanfilippo; her son-in-law Tony Templeton; and her friend Amelia Summers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Novant Health Cancer Institute at 1010 Bethesda Ct, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
