He was predeceased by: his wife Edna "Sudie" Hudspeth; his parents, Ethyl Hudspeth and Clarence Hudspeth; and his sisters, Shirley Ball and Carol Rothrock.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Honeycutt (Michael) and Rick Hudspeth (Jean); his grandchildren, Chelsea Richardson (Matt), Caleb Hudspeth (Erin), John Teeter (Taylor) and Michaela Teeter; and his great grandchildren, Xander and Evie Hudspeth. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Although he was physically unable to attend church with Sudie for many years, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Richard's memory to: North Pointe Church, 5225 High Point Rd., High Point, NC 27265.
