He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Clayton Steele and Rita Mae Walters Steele; and his brother Marshall Steele. He is survived by: his wife Gail Finley Steele; his children, Dawn Maxwell (Terry Sewell) of Shephard, TX and Derek Steele (Jackie) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Megan, Sydney, Arthur, Jackson and Olivia; his great grandchild Dallas; and his sisters, Cathy Degnan and Debbie Dutill.
