He was predeceased by: his parents, L. S. McHone and Annie McHone. He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Tony and Scott; his wife Carolyn; his daughters, Sheila Ball (Tony) and Rhonda Day (Scott); his grandchildren, Aaron Ball and Amber Lennon; his siblings, Evelyn East (Garnie) of Max Meadows, VA, Irene Manuel of Elon College, NC, Margaret Gallimore of Madisonville, KY, Helen Dennis (Richard) of Mebane, NC, Lonnie McHone (Libby) of Wytheville, VA and Jerry McHone (Shirley) of Wytheville, VA; and his brother-in-law James R. Rowe III of Dublin, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
