He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hoke and Michel Gibson Norman; his wife Linda; and his siblings, Jay, Pebo, Raymond, Clark and Irene.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Norman (Terri) of Kernersville, Jeff Norman of Denver, NC and Sandy Whitman (Daniel Fisher) of High Point; and his grandchildren, Matthew Norman (Anna), Ashley Norman (Tinisha), Hayden Cobb (Austin), Maggie Whitman and Grant Norman. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
