It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Travis Bennett (Kernersville, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Bennett and Pearlie Nelson Bennett; and his siblings, Mamie Rierson, Hallie Mabe, Margie Bullins, Adelene Lewis and Alonzo "Lonzie" Bennett.

He is survived by: his wife Rexine Tilley Bennett; his son Alan Bennett (Susan); his granddaughters, Brooke Meier (BJ), Ashley Wence (Craig) and Erin Bennett; his great grandchildren, Anderson Meier, Charlotte Meier, Charles Wence and Samuel Wence; and his siblings, Lucille Wall and Swanson Bennett (Dora). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
