She was predeceased by: her parents, Khalil Begum and Khadija Begum; and her husband Dr. Riaz Ahmed Lalah. She is survived by: her children, Mohmmad Shahid Riaz, Moses Zahid Riaz, Dr. Samina Riaz Tanvir, Dr. Rubina Riaz Mahmood, Murfoo Riaz and Rehan Riaz. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
