Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Neil Frederick Oerter of Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 91, on August 2, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert William Oerter and Eva Klientop Oerter; and his brother Edward Albert Oerter. He is survived by: his sons, John Frederick (Michelle) and Peter Lawrence (Jerusha); his wife Betsy Haywood Blum; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Morrell Oerter, Micah Aviel Oerter and Anthony Aidan Oerter. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Dept. of Calvary Moravian Church. 600 Holly Ave. Winston Salem 27101.
