She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Glenn Weavil; her parents, Harvey Nelson and Doskey Nelson; and her siblings, Nettie Jane Nelson, Mickey Nelson, Judy Nelson, Margie McKaughn, Glenn Nelson, Carl Nelson and Richard Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, June Cockerham (Randy), Patty Mabe and Randy Weavil (Marcy); her grandchildren, James Cockerham, Joey Cockerham, Sara Fletcher (Jason), Erin Wolfe (J. G.), Matthew Weavil (Ashley) and Joe Weavil (Jeanette); and her brothers, Roger Nelson and Ralph Nelson (Faye). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
