He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Basim; his children, Nichole Hutchins of Kernersville, NC and Joseph Basim (Kayla) of Kernersville, NC; his grandsons, Kevin Hutchins of Kernersville, NC and Michael Hutchins of Kernersville, NC; and his sister Marla Hearn of Marietta, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
