He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edwin and Dorothy Britt Catlett; and his stepfather Robert Weick. He is survived by: his siblings, Kevin Weick (Heather), Mark Catlett (Pamela), Ben Weick, Bruce Weick (Bernice) and Barbara Weick; and his nieces and nephews, Sara, Stephanie, Christine, Dana, Jason and Bryan.
