It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Myers Naylor Rhoades of Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mothers, Nora Joyce Myers and Mary of Draughon's Business College; her husband Dewitt; her brothers-in-law, Grady Kirkman and James Roberson; her sisters, Vera Rhoades Hayes (Chall Hayes) and Dorothy (Dean Rhoades); and her niece Saundra Hayes Van Strien (James Van Strien).
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Lynn Rhoades, Greg Rhoades (Kyo Kim Rhoades) and Neal Rhoades (Lynanne Rhoades); her grandchildren, Cordia, Tucker, Jackson and Will Rhoades; her great grandchildren, Griffin and Cora Rhoades; her sisters, Ann Kirkman and Jane Roberson; her sister-in-law Sarah Rhoades; and her nieces and nephews, Julie Kirkman Jones, Annie, Steve Kirkman, Patti, David Roberson, Emily Roberson, Jim Crossingham, Karen Hayes, Marc Rotterman, Mary Beth, David Rhoades, Lisa and Mark Rhoades. She is also survived by five grand nephews and eight grandnieces; and four great nephews and seven great nieces.
