We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2021, at the age of 83, Mary Alyce Atkins Spainhour of Kernersville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore C. Atkins and Lucille Farrington Atkins; her siblings, Aubrey Atkins, James Atkins and Naomi Taylor; and her stepbrother Kenneth Atkins.

She is survived by: her husband Harold D. Spainhour, Sr.; her sons, Dean Spainhour, Jr. (Deborah) of Yadkinville, NC and Darren C. Spainhour of Kernersville, NC; her sisters, Violet Stack, Linda Knight (David) and Olivia Hine (G. H.); her grandchildren, Corry, Skylar and Trevor; and her great grandchildren, Grayson, Jace, Justin and Jasper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
