He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Callie Cobbler Goins; his wife Rosa Lee Stephens Goins; his son Stephen Goins; and his siblings, Mildred Dalton, Virginia Wright, William "Junior" Goins, Jimmy Goins, Billy Wayne Goins and Louis Goins.
He is survived by: his children, Katherine Armstrong and William Goins; and his siblings, Frances Jefferson, Gladys Fulcher, Elmer Goins and Connell Goins. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
