She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Gilley; and her siblings, Ruth Robertson, Cleo Petree, Gladys Foster, Lorene Petree, Vance, Gilmer, Leo and Hubert Dunn.
She is survived by: her son Jim Burton; her daughter-in-law Chris Burton; her stepdaughter Sheila Beaver (Dennis); her brother J. B. Dunn (Gay); her sister-in-law Norma Jean Dunn; and her caregivers, Teresa, Jetta, Talisha, Glenda and Pam. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Shepherds' Center of Kernersville.
