With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lula Bell Pruitt Ballard (Kernersville, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on September 27, 2019 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville Odell Pruitt and Francis Goins Pruitt; her husband Keith Revere Smith May; and her sisters, Annie Mae McGee, Beatrice Clayton and Brenda Litaker.
She is survived by: her son Keith Michael Smith (Deborah Osborne Smith) of Kernersville, NC; her grandsons, Casey Revere Smith (Stephanie) of Colorado Springs, CO and Jason Caswell Smith of Winston-Salem, NC; her great grandchild Brayden Revere Smith; and her sister Betty Mabe of Lawsonville, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
