She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Hackney and Loree Hackney; her husband Thomas Gray Shelton; and her son Galen Gray Shelton. She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Shelton Stone (Roger); her daughter-in-law Sissy Shelton; her grandchildren, Courtney Joyce (Justin), Catherine Lockhart (Ricky), Kaitlyn Stone (Manny), Matthew Peek and Trey Stone; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Ellis and Poppy; and her sisters, JoeAnne Strader (Ronnie) and Angela Scott (Ron).
