He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Carroll and Atha Hairston Carroll; and his siblings, Anthony Carroll, Steven Carroll, Charles Carroll and Peggy Carroll Miller.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Carroll Miller of Charlotte, NC and Lisa Carroll Hama (Karim) of High Point, NC; and his close friend Melissa Daniels. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
