He is survived by: his parents, John Floyd and Mattie Lee Spillman Bean; his brother Michael Wayne Bean; his wife Nancy Shelton Bean; his daughters, Crystal Evans (Stephen Hartman) and Jennifer Bower (Larry); his grandchildren, Tiffany Evans, Brittany Kuhl (Allen) and Harley Hartman; his great grandchildren, Gabriel Kuhl and Atiana Kuhl; and his siblings, Johnny Beane, Frances Hylton, Brenda Spease and Charles Bean (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saints Delight Cemetery Fund care of Terry Motsinger, 207 Motsinger Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
