He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Thomas and Gladys Mendenhall Adams; his siblings, Joyce Bryant, Peggy Frazier, Rebecca Ann Adams and Ira Franklin Adams; and his son Gregory Clark Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Adams; his daughters, Heather Adams Small (T. J.) of Clemmons and Karen Welch Arnold of Arlington, Texas; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Adam Small, Raegan Arnold Reid, Cameron Arnold, Taylor, Logan and Brenden Welch.
