She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen FitzGerald (Tom) of Kernersville, Jackie Shafer of Raleigh and Vanessa Dockery (Darryl) of Valdese; her son-in-law John King of Connelly Springs; her sister-in-law Winnie Kephart of Morganton; and her grandchildren, Kim Truelove, Sherry Kirby (Kregg), Delvin Fox, Emily Stephens (Travis) and Whitney Hambrick (Jake).

89, of Kernersville, formerly of Valdese, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Rose Tara Senior Living Memory Care, following a period of declining health due to Alzheimer's.
