She was predeceased by: her father Charles Washington Rendon, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Joy Duren Rendon; her wife Amy Thompson Rendon; her children, Nathan Eric Newman, Gregory Charles Newman, Sarah Nicole Newman-Kaper, Dakota Mari'Thompson, Chase Amos Thompson, Elijah Ashton Thompson, Braydon Avery Thompson, Parker Anderson Thompson and Gracyn Rose Thompson; her grandchildren, Talyn, Nora and Ronan; and her siblings, Brenda Rendon Osborne, Charles Russell Rendon and Robin Marie Sims. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended in-laws.
