He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Higgins and Mattie Lou Liddle Higgins; his son Kenneth Richard Higgins; and his siblings, Worth Higgins, Iris Higgins Cole, Elizabeth Higgins Melton and Sharon Higgins Plichta.
He is survived by: his wife Shelbie Feimster Higgins; his children, Scott Higgins (Tina), Lori Higgins Rohs and Brad Hayes (Kim); his grandchildren, Blain, Blair, Griffin, Mattie, Grayson, Sally and Will; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson, Porter and Graham; and his siblings, Robert Dean Higgins and Imogene Higgins Frye.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Kernersville Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (3950 Macy Grove Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
