He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Hill and James Matthew Joyce; and his grandson David. He is survived by: his wife Carol Dean Joyce; and his children, Michael Joyce (Tiffany Joyce) of Walkertown, NC, Steve Joyce (Rhonda Joyce) of Pleasant Garden, NC, Vickie Hart (Billy) of Greensboro, NC and Angela Williams (Mitchell Williams) of Southport, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
