She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Shelton Hughes and Thomas Marion Shelton; and her grandchildren, Gracelynn Taylor and Stanley Shelton. She is survived by: her husband Carl A. Taylor, Sr.; her son Thomas Robinson; her stepchildren, Carla Shelton, Carl Taylor, II, Stacey Taylor, William Taylor, Kayla Stultz, Shannon Johnston and Roger Robinson, Jr.; and her brother Tony Shelton, Sr.. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and many more extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Kernersville Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (3950 Macy Grove Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Memory - Mausoleum Chapel (5696 Old Walkertown Rd, Walkertown, NC 27051).
