She was predeceased by: her parents, J. R. "Oscar" and Nacie Coe Wood; and her sisters, Dixie Beck, Kathleen Hedgecock and Grace Eastman.
She is survived by: her husband Luther Mahlon Pendry; her children, Steve Pendry (Janice), Tony Pendry (Dianne) and Teresa Mendenhall (Mark); and her sisters, Dot Bowman and Rita Baxley (Harold). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
