She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Roosevelt and Era Smith Beeson; her husband James "Bud" Hester; and her son Ronnie Hester. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Hester and Kenny Hester; her grandchildren, David, Tommy, Kelli, Shelby, Rachael and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Tyler, George, Carter and Beckett; her stepgrandson Michael; and her adoptive son Buster Moore (Beverly). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
