It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph W. Mullinax (Kernersville, North Carolina), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Henley Mullinax and Floye Pauline Vollrath Mullinax; and his brothers, John A. Mullinax and Harry Mullinax. He is survived by: his wife Judy Mullinax; his daughters, Pamela Marie Mullinax Barrett (Kevin) of Kernersville, NC and Rebecca Lynn Mullinax Penzo (Michael) of Stafford, VA; his grandchildren, Kyle Joseph Barrett, Joshua Kevin Barrett (Megan), Courtney Lynn Penzo and Heather Michelle Penzo; and his sister Nellie Pauline Cornwell of Fredricksburg, VA. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
