She was predeceased by: her siblings, Alan Bowers and Myra McCollem. She is survived by: her children, Terri Newman of Belews Creek, Donna Mabe (Jeff) of Walnut Cove and Charles, Jr. Swift (Kathy) of Kernersville; and her siblings, Willma Lamb, Helen Whitaker, Faye Scott and Jerry Bowers. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
