He was predeceased by: his parents, James Claude Williams and Carrie Smith Williams; his wife Jo Ann Solomon Williams; his sister Jo Ann Edwards; and his son Mark Williams.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly W. Carter (Vernon B. Carter) of Oak Ridge. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
