He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Cottingham, Jonnie Butler and Ann Paden; his nieces, Suzanne Stomean (Lonnie) and Jennifer Collins (Eddie); his great-niece Jordan Stomean; his great-nephew Clifton Cottingham; and his pet Dottie Sue. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
