It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Gross (Kernersville, North Carolina), born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on June 1, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Blanche Billips and James Harvey Gross; and his brothers, William Gross, Donald Gross and Eugene "Homer" Gross.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah Evans Gross; his children, Chandra Leigh Gross of Colfax, Erica Lauren Gross of High Point and Andrew James Gross of Corolla; and his sister-in-law Vicki Gross of Princeton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
