He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Thomas and Pearl Robbins McCuiston; his siblings, Myrna Whitley (Barry) of Farmington, N. C., Barbara Cleary of Mocksville, N. C. and Thomas McCuiston (Cherry) of Asheboro, N. C.; his nieces and nephews, Charles Cleary, Jr. of Boone, N. C., Brooke, Jake Cashion of Kernersville, N. C., Andrea, Charles Peyton of Birmingham, Brian McCuiston, Ann-Marie Taylor of High Point, N. C., Derek and Beth McCuiston of Winston-Salem; his great-nieces, Emma McCuiston of Charlotte, N. C., Madeline Cashion of Pensacola and Whitley Anne Peyton of Birmingham, Alabama; his brother Wayne McCuiston; his brother-in-law Charles Cleary; and also Robert Oakley Peyton of Birmingham, Alabama..

For consideration in lieu of flowers, the family directs memorial donations to Unity Hall (AA) located at 1253 Churton St SW Winston-Salem NC 27103.
