He was predeceased by: his father Jack Knipple; his wife Bonnie Banks Kipple; and his son Eddie Kipple. He is survived by: his sons, Jack Stephen "Steve" Kipple of Wallburg, James Kipple (Robin) of Pinnacle and David Kipple of Hillsville, VA; his grandchildren, Olivia, Eddie, Donnie, Samarin and Vann; and his brother Richard Knipple of Asheville.
