It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivey Martin Redmon Sr. (Kernersville, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Doris Mae; his son Kevin Keith Redmon; and his brothers, Troy, Porter, Orville, Odell, John Ray and Lester Redmon.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Jan Redmon Stamper of Kernersville, Robert of Kernersville, Bob of Kernersville, Tina D. Redmon Higgins of Kernersville, Scott of Kernersville and Ivey M. Redmon, Jr. of Kingsport; his sister Mae Petticord of Lilburn; and also Sue of Kingsport. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and community friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, 306 South Main Street, Kernersville, NC 27284, or one's favorite charity.
