It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hubert Maxcy of Kernersville, North Carolina, born in Stoneville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jurman David Maxcy and Betty Maxcy (Newman); and his brothers, William Bill (Kathryn), Lloyd (Aaline) and Olin F. (Ruth).
He is survived by: his daughter Jean Linville; his sister-in-law Peggy Mitchell; and his cousin Carolyn Bullins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing Covid Pandemic, there will be no formal visitation or receiving line with family present.
