He is survived by: his wife Romaine Stewart Poindexter; his children, Patricia Garr (Mark Shearin) and Byron Poindexter (Ginny Todd); his grandchildren, Kati Tsiolkas (Bryan), Jennifer Jones (John), Nicholas (Meghan), Daniel Garr, Andrew Garr and Matthew Garr (Tara Rooks); and his great grandchildren, Maggie Tsiolkas, John Jones (Stone), Charlie, Sadie Jones, Lucy and William Tsiolkas.
