He was predeceased by: his parents, John Griffin and Gertie Adelaide Grubbs Griffin; his wife Elsie Hill; his son Gary Griffin; his great grandchild Gary; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Griffin.
He is survived by: his son Tim Griffin (Elsie); his grandchildren, Todd Griffin, Amy Simmons (Danny), Julie, Wilson (Scott), Tim Morris and Eric Lockhart (Windy); and his sister Bertha Westmoreland (Lyndon). He is also survived by six great grandchildren; two great-great, grandchildren; one daughter-in-law and wife.
