He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hartwell Peace and Bessie Early Peace; and his siblings, William T. "Bill" Peace, Sr. and Betty Peace Ruppe. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Hanes Peace; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Peace Brewer (Mark), Debra Peace, Tommy Peace (Dee), Ann Ruppe Rollins (Clyde) and Terry Ruppe Mitchell (Pete).
