She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Maddox Sr.. She is survived by: her father Joel Cole Sr.; her daughter Katina M. Johnson (Nasion); her mother Frances B. Cole; her brothers, William and Joel Cole, Jr.; and her aunts, Ruby Griffin, Ann Galloway, Emma Ingram, Louise Ross and Gwendolyn A. Cole. She is also survived by in-laws from Shelby NC, cousins, other relatives and friends.
