It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Shackleford of Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe McCollum and Willie Evans McCollum; her husband Bobby Shackleford; her siblings, Betty Bridges, Lewis McCollum, Louise Miller and Linda Nichols; and her nephew Gerald McCollum.
She is survived by: her daughter Renee Shipley (Glen); her sister May Freeman; and her siblings-in-law, Olga McCollum and Bill Nichols.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
