She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlotte Harrelson Earl and Henry Dean Earl; her husband Norman Parnell, Jr.; her grandson Travis Parnell; and her daughter-in-law Loretta Parnell.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Parnell and Stephanie Blair (Mark); her grandchildren, Traci Bryant (Dan), Levi Parnell, Maegan Blair and Brandon Cox; her siblings, Darlene Lewallen (Ron), Mike Harmon (Bonnie) and Kevin Harmon (Sallie); and her siblings-in-law, Kerry Parnell (Gretta) and Susie Davis (John). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kernersville Shepherd's Center at 431 W. Bodenhamer Street, Kernersville, NC 27284.
