It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Eugene Shore Jr. of Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edgar Eugene Shore Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar E. Shore, Sr. and Mattie Butler Shore of Kernersville, NC; and his brothers, Henry Eugene of Winston-Salem and James Butler of Waynesville. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Frances Mangum Shore; his daughters, Hellen Wilson and Nancy Sawtelle (Butch); and his grandchildren, Meredith Wilson, Michael (Macy), Kathleen and Thomas Sawtelle. He is also survived by several sisters and brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
