He was predeceased by: his father Grady Duemont Long; and his son Brian Long. He is survived by: his mother Rachel Shaver Long McKnight; his wife Patricia Ann Davis Long; his children, Kellie Long and David Long (Nobleza); and his brothers, Duane Long (Diane), Dennis Long (Wanda) and Tim Long (Dana). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
