She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Clayton Sykes and Annie Mae Sykes (Pendry); and her siblings, Ralph Sykes, Grady Sykes, John Sykes, Clay Sykes, Pearl Sells and Pauline Crews.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Hunt (Walter) and Thomas B. Sells; and her grandchildren, Zane Sells, Shane Sells (Melissa), Dwayne Sells (Beverly), Jessica Clayton, Clifton Hunt and Donise Reyes (Chris). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Family has requested donations be made directly to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
