Dorothy Allison Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Allison of Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norman Arrington and Nellie Bradley Arrington; her daughter Dianne Matthews (George) of Jamestown; her granddaughter Lindsay Wall of Durham; her siblings, Eugene Arrington and Pauline Massie; her siblings-in-law, Leon Allison and Sue Waldrop; and her stepgrandchildren, Gina, George, Jr., Joseph and Paul Matthews. She was also cherished by six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
