She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Jones; her parents, Fletcher Welch and Anna Hager Welch; her son Tony Welch; and her siblings, Lenora Clark, Judy Musser, Frankie Cook, Fred Tackett and Charles Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Tanya Perea (Alberto Perea) of Winston-Salem, NC, Michael Jones (Candice Jones) of Kernersville, NC and Stacy Ninh (Yen Ninh) of Stokesdale, NC; her grandchildren, Alisha Perea, Chad Ninh (Sydney Ninh), Alberto Perea, Jr., Ryan Ninh and Caylie Jones; her great grandchild Knox Ninh; and her sister Peggy Ellis (Bob Ellis). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
