It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Yates McBrayer of Kernersville, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Blanton McBrayer and Edwin Yates McBrayer; his significant other Carolyn Warlick McBrayer; his children, Walking Horses of Tennessee, Cathy Poole, Kevin McBrayer (Angie) and Kay Gibson (Steve); his granddaughters, Jessica G. Ryan and Jordan B. Gibson; his great grandchildren, Autumn and Arwen Ryan; and his caregivers, Kim McEntee, RN, Stephanie Dillon, Stephanie Moore, Angie McBrayer and Jim Laramore.
Flowers are welcome and memorials may be directed to Smith Grove Baptist Church c/o Cemetery Fund to aid in cemetery preservation in the coming years.
